Gustoko 2024 is an Erronka Garbia event, that is, environmentally committed. To achieve this certification at the close of the event, the organiser has drawn up a plan to count and minimise waste and also to encourage its selective collection; to light and air-condition the hall more efficiently, that is, by adjusting the light intensity and temperature of the hall to the different time phases; to reduce energy consumption by the stands; and to activate general awareness-raising messages about these issues and others affecting the environment such as the use of public transport by attendees, among other aspects.
